Product Care Product Care

Admiral Furniture products have been designed and manufactured to provide maximum durability and comfort. As with any quality product, proper care is required to keep your new furniture looking good.

Below are our recommendations to care for your new Admiral Furniture products:

Cleaning Frames

1) Frequent cleaning with a solution of mild detergent and 1/2 cup of white vinegar to 2 gallons of warm water. Rinse with clean water.

2) For more stubborn stains, you may use a mild abrasive such as Soft Scrub (regular, without bleach).

3) Periodic paste waxing of frames will prolong life and protect from staining and scratching.

4) Inspect the nylon glides frequently and replace if worn or missing.

Cleaning Vinyl Strapping

1) Frequent cleaning with a solution of mild detergent and 1/2 cup of white vinegar to 2 gallons of warm water. Rinse with clean water.

2) For more stubborn stains, you may use a mild abrasive such as Soft Scrub (regular, without bleach).

3) Periodic paste waxing or use of ArmorAll® on vinyl strapping will prolong strap life and prevent staining.

Some sun block products contain "PABA", an acid that is harmful to vinyl. To prevent contact between sun block and strapping, use a beach towel and rinse furniture frequently with water.

Below are some items that could harm the strap or finish:

1) DO NOT use strong detergents or bleach!

2) DO NOT use solvents such as methyl, ethyl, ketone, acetone or paint thinner.

Cleaning Sling & Umbrella Fabrics

Fabric life is primarily a function of care and use.

We recommend regular cleaning with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse with clean water. Store when not in use.

Umbrella Care

To protect them from the elements, umbrellas should be closed in their stand. If an umbrella is wet, let dry completely before closing.

When storing umbrellas, cover them completely and lay on hard, flat surface in a well-ventilated location. NEVER store wet.
